Hi I have Si joint pain or piriformis, sharp pain in back, stabbing pain in thigh and calf it doesn't travel. now stabbing pain in front ankle, related?
Sciatica?: In my experience, "SI joint" and "Piriformis" syndromes are commonly over-diagnosed by mistake. Instead, I do see a lot of cases of sciatica from degenerate discs and pinched nerves in the lumbar spine. From your description, I wonder if you might have a pinched L5 nerve in your lumbar spine. http://www.spine-health.com/conditions/spine-anatomy/all-about-l5-s1-lumbosacral-joint ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have dull sciatic pain from left back to left ankle, acute pain in left butt bone when sitting/sleeping, and sharp groin pains from full bladder!?
Pyroformis syndrome: This could be pyroformis syndrome, which is caused by the body attempting to compensate for a difference in leg-length. This often responds very well to osteopathic or chiropractic manipulation. I would suggest seeking out a local do or chiropracter who treats low back pain. Osteopathic manipulation is much gentler, but chiropractic is often much easier to find. Both help. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
