Have been on 875 amoxicillan 2x daily for 6 days for a UTI tonight started having significant pain in left flank area and neck if that means anything?

The pain and swelling is in the left flank area the pain wraps around to the front. It's the swelling i find strange any idea what would cause this?

Where's swelling?: Flank pain that wraps around to front makes me think of kidney stone. Typically, this pain comes & goes as your ureter attempts to push stone down tube, which can lead to blood in urine. Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated & hasten movement of stone (if that's what's causing pain). Go see your family doc for evaluation & treatment. ...Read more

Thoughts...: It could be a variety of things... Gas, stomach ulcer, gastritis, kidney stones.
