Male. Pain in the groin (like blue-balls) for 3 weeks, it feels like I have a 3rd Testicle on the right side. Why so long? Would masterbaition help?

Probably not: This is not likely due to testicular engorgement (i.e. "blue balls"), such that ejaculation will lead to reduction in swelling. Instead, this is more likely either be an inguinal hernia or hydrocoele. You should have your physician check this out. If the pain worsens, you should seek attention, as the diagnosis of testicular torsion or epididymitis may need to be ruled out. ...Read more

Pain in groin on right side above the penis root.Pressed slightly to check and feels like some swollen veins at the painful spot.20 yo male.Cancer?

probably not: The most common cause for pain in the inguinal region is the development of a hernia. Not a likely spot for a tumor. See your physician and get it checked out. ...Read more

Cannot diagnose: This sounds like a node in the inguinal chain, but any mass which feels hard should be seen and examined by a doctor, and if necessary biopsied. This is particularly true if it appears not to be mobile and fixed to underlying tissue. ...Read more

Male 21 years old. I have had a lump under my skin in my left groin and also my right side. They're not painful, soft, can somewhat move. ???

Probably lymph nodes: If this is something that just recently showed up, the lumps are most likely lymph nodes if they are located along the inguinal fold/canal. Epidermal inclusion cysts are also common in the groin, but are usually hard, not soft, and infected cysts/furuncles are usually tender. See a Dr if they don't go away or start enlarging an/or multiplying. ...Read more

Hernia?: I think after two years you deserve a full evaluation with a good physician. It sounds to me like a hernia, but there is a lot to learn in person. I wish you well. Ask for help where you live. ...Read more

Since this morning I have been having a burning pain on the left side of my groin, near my leg. I am a male, and I just got over constipation. Help?

Inguinal pain: Any condition causing increased abdominal pressure can result in an inguinal hernia in a male. Chronic cough, constipation & heavy lifting all cause increased abdominal pressure. The cause of these conditions needs to be evaluated & treated before a hernia is repaired. ...Read more

My 25 year old partner (male) over the last 2weeks has developed some lumps, 2 in his breast (right side) one in each armpit and another in his groin?

My 25 year old partner (male) over the last 2weeks has developed some lumps, 2 in his breast (right side) one in each armpit and another in his groin?

seek evaluation: Well, i certainly feel a medical exam is in order. Your doctor or provider will ask other questions concerning weight loss, fatigue or malaise, and night sweats. Groin and armpit lumps could be swollen lymph nodes, which could be indicative of a systemic disease process. Call your doctor for an appointment. Good luck. ...Read more

Can you list the different possible reasons for months of LLQ abdominal pain, sometimes in groin or left side back. Small amount of melena in stool. Pain is constant, burning or pressure in changing areas of left abdomen. 33yr male?

Can you list the different possible reasons for months of LLQ abdominal pain, sometimes in groin or left side back. Small amount of melena in stool. Pain is constant, burning or pressure in changing areas of left abdomen. 33yr male?

LLQ: These symptoms in your age group are suggestive of inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn' s disease. Ulcerative colitis usually has more diarrhea with red blood in the stools. Diverticulitis of the Left colon generally does not have associated bleeding. Kidney stones aren't very likely the problem. A gastroenterologist is best qualified to evaluate and treat you. ...Read more

In a male, what would cause a large lump on left side of groin on the inside ?

In a male, what would cause a large lump on left side of groin on the inside ?

Hernia?: If you lie flat on your back, with legs relaxed but flexed, does the "lump" eventually disappear? If so, it is most likely a hernia and should be evaluated by a surgeon. If not or unsure, see your dr or urgent care for evaluation and referral prior to onset of problems. ...Read more
