I have upper thigh pain from running i rested my muscles for a week but still have pain. I was told to run slowly . Is it okay to still do crunches?
Yes: You may have itb syndrome. This is inflammation of a band of tissue that runs along the side of your leg. There is also a fluid filled sack beneath it that can get inflamed. That is called bursitis. If your pain hasn't resolved in a few weeks with anti inflammatories, then you should see a doctor. Crunches should be fine to do. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

What you describe sounds like a benign mass or cyst. An ultrasound and/or biopsy would give you a diagnosis, but it might not be necessary. Ask your primary care provider to take a look at this next time you're in. And read about lipomas to see if that fits! ...Read more
