Pain In Foot But No Swelling
I have minor swelling in one calf mainly in the area right slightly below the knee. No apparent swelling in ankles or feet. No pain or redness.
Swelling Causes: Swelling behind the knee could be a strain or ligament injury. It could be phlebitis. It could also be a cyst called a Baker's cyst. The best course would be to see your family doctor, orthopedist or podiatrist for evaluation. A physical exam and possibly X-rays or an MRI can answer your questions. ...Read more

Injury: One-sided swelling in leg and ankle is usually associated with injury, but a condition called chronic venous insufficiency may also be the cause of it. Try elevating your legs and if the swelling goes down, its more venous than injury. See a podiatrist for a more thorough evaluation. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Should get better--see MD if not improved in week ...Read more

Slapped in knee. No walking pain, bruise,or swell. Some transient mild pain in area, but only for 1st day. Could this be a (growth plate) fracture?
Highly unlikely: In general, growth plate fractures in the lower extremity would be associated with moderate to severe pain in the leg associated with difficulty bearing weight.
