Pain In Foot But No Swelling
Hello I was at work on a ladder and turned and felt something pop in my foot and now have a lot if pain in foot. No swelling. Very tender?
Pops: Could be a lot of things, including dislocation of a joint, tendon, or ligament. Also, could be a tear of a tendon or ligament. Lastly, it could be a fracture. I would have to know where exactly in the foot it is tender. I would also get an x-ray. Possible blood clot: This is a tough one. If its just one foot, first thing I would rule out is a dvt, or deep venous thrombosis. There are many causes of pain in the foot without any apparent trauma. Without knowing more about your boy's health history and getting a look at his tootsie, I'd be misleading you with any specific answers.
