Pharyngitis: Sounds like pharyngitis, which can be bacterial but is usually caused by viruses like those that cause the common cold. Earache: You either have wax in the ear of fluid in the middle ear. Sore throat could be a strep infection. The tonsils will have pustules on them or pus. The whitish tongue does not indicate much. You : You could try warm packs, advil or tylenol, (acetaminophen) and drinking plenty of fluids to see if it resolves. If it doesn't, or if you have fever or redness, then you would have to be re-evaluated.
