Hard to say: Are you working out before or after taking Muscletech? It may be exactly the low carbohydrate count and working out that is causing dizziness. maybe its the lack of carbs with exercise that is using up all of your glycogen stores and this will cause dizziness due to lack of energy source to brain. or maybe its's just one of the ingredients in the mixture. change it up. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Could be reflux: Some foods and beverages may provoke acid reflux. You could try a liquid antacid or an otc medication such as omeprazole. Either would probably be more effective than water. The antacid you would just take when you have the symptoms. The Omeprazole you take to prevent them. Good luck! ...Read more

I'm 27, overweight, non-smoker. Why does the right side of my chest ache after or while drinking alchol, and my whole stomach burn drinking wine? Ulcers were ruled out.
Sounds like reflux: gastro-esophageal reflux disease (or GERD) occurs when acidic stomach contents are not held in the stomach because of a weak valve between the esophagus and stomach. Alcohol commonly brings it on and/or makes it worse. It is more common in people who are overweight and in smokers. Avoiding triggers and smoking cessation help, as do medications like Tagamet (cimetidine) or Omeprazole. Weight loss also may help ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Sometimes when I have liquor, or food with high sugar, I am getting severe pain in neck and upper shoulders, almost immediately. Lasts for 20 min. Subsides and ends in soreness in upper abdomen.
Referred pain?: Many of the organs in the abdomen (pancreas, stomach, intestines, gall bladder, liver) have inaccurately localizing pain receptors. Yes, but no: You can, but you don't want to. All protein drinks are is a bottle of extra calories -- calories that you probably don't need and don't want. Try 3 meals during the day, it's cheaper, tastes better and is much better for you. Protein shakes are metabolized to calories, just like anything else - otherwise you'd end up looking like what you eat. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

1.4 liters - 2 liters a day of water, 1 protein shake after gym.
Probably.: Protein shakes can be problematic for people with kidney problems or who don't stay well hydrated. I'm a 26 year old healthy male. I've recently started drinking a protein shake once a day. I was surprised to find that each serving contains 190% DV of iron. Should I be concerned? Should I stop?
No: That's not enough extra iron to be a problem unless u have hemochromatosis. Most likely it was added to the protein to make sure u get enough.
