Head ache: Cant really "look" at the sinuses with a camera. You need radiologic evaluation with CT scan to tell if there is sinus mass or fluid. This type of headache may be a migraine equivalent and if there is no real suspicion of frontal or ethmoid pathology, then see a neurologist to evaluate you for the source of the headache. ...Read more

Went to doctor with sinus infection and got amoxicillin. Did not help in still have bad headache in bridge of nose and behind my eyes. Any advice?

Sinus Infection: The pain / pressure of sinus infections is not due to the bacteria, but due to the blocked nose and sinus passages. When the mucus gets plugged up, bacterial growth continues. The bacterial infection is just part of the problem. Try adding an oral decongestant or a topical decongestant spray. If this does not do it, see your doctor again. ...Read more

Smacked bridge of nose 2 months ago (not broken), injury left small lumps in skin, can break them up with message but they reform. What are these?

Lipomas?: I am not sure of the actual name for these, but when you hit your nose you crushed the fat layer under the skin. It responds by scarring just like the skin itself does. It shouldn't: see your PCP if you're experiencing nausea from pressure on your nasal bone. It may involve something completely different that needs to be checked out by your doctor. So make sure to have an appointment, and explain when this occurs, what makes it better or worse, and if there's nothing s/he can offer you to make it better, get a second opinion.
