Needle pain: This sounds like nerve contusion, depending on the location at the heel , and definitely at the toe. Without a physical exam it sounds like over pronation resulting in the big toe pain. Begin with rest, ice massage, otc anti-inflammatories, & stretching the foot/ heel throughout the day. Make sure you are wearing shoes with an appropriate amount of support... Consider shoe inserts (arch support), and wearing night splints... Prp or steriod injections may be considered after the above options.
