Not entirely clear: good news is there are no significant organs in the left upper abdomen-( e.g. gallbladder or appendix). The relationship to bowel movements raises the question of irritable bowel or constipation. I would suggest being sure you're using adequate fiber in your diet, drinking plenty of water and adding a probiotic ( yogurt or pill). Digestive system: problem. It can be gallbladder disease, or an stomach ulcer or pancreatitis or similar problems related to digestive system. Pancreas: After your gallbladder has been removed you can still form stones or sludge that causes pain. Getting pain after eating around 30-40 minutes may be related to acid however.
