Not entirely clear: good news is there are no significant organs in the left upper abdomen-( e.g. gallbladder or appendix). The relationship to bowel movements raises the question of irritable bowel or constipation. I would suggest being sure you're using adequate fiber in your diet, drinking plenty of water and adding a probiotic ( yogurt or pill). If the pain worsens or you have new symptoms or fever see a doctor! ...Read more

Digestive system: problem. It can be gallbladder disease, or an stomach ulcer or pancreatitis or similar problems related to digestive system. Upper right quadrant pain. Cholecystectomy 8 years ago. Pain radiates to back /shoulder and is sharp about 40 min after eating. Liquid diet helps.

Pancreas: After your gallbladder has been removed you can still form stones or sludge that causes pain. Getting pain after eating around 30-40 minutes may be related to acid however. At your age a duodenal ulcer is possible. Lastly pancreatitis or inflammation of the pancreas can also be a cause. See your doctor you can be treated and feel better. ...Read more
