I have pain from the ball of my foot into my arch really hurts. I am a dancer so I am doing a ton with my feet. I just was wondering like what it could be?
I have a pain near the ball of my foot in my arch. Recently lost 80 lbs through diet and excercise, started running then pain happened?
Plantar fascitiis: Could be the diagnosis. I would recommend you try an over the counter orthotic and ice the foot and see how that works out for you. Ball of foot is not the most precise descriptor so a neuroma would be added into the mix but i would recommend the same treatment for you as a starting point. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have pain in the bottom of my foot. The pain originated justbehind the ball of my foot and it has now moved closer to the heel. The tendon in my arch hurts while walking and it has gotten worse. What should I do?
Wearing gel arch supports. But the pain still persistent in both feet just below the ball of the foot. Can this pain be caused by t7 disc degeneration?
No: The nerves lower down can affect the feet but not t7, it is entirely possible your gel supports are not giving adequate support. There are a few "prefabricated" orthotics i recommend but most sold in pharmacies I am not a fan of. Spenco, is an adequate one. Also! just a gel cushion may not be enough, oftentimes we recommend multiple treatments i.E icing, stretching, antiinflammatories all at once. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Pain in the foot: not one right answer---it has to do with your body mechanic--how you walk---any structure abnormalities of the back,legs,ankles,feet---body weight----it could be as easily as wearing some orthotic inserts in your shoes------or more complicated. I suggest that you go see a specialist----podiatrist and have them examine your feet ...Read more
Orthotics: Even though you are not in heels, you can still have too much pressure on the ball of the foot due to instability in your arch. This collapsed arch leads to more pressure on the ball of the foot. Custom orthotics will raise your arch and support it and reduce pressure on the ball of the foot. Negative heel shoes may also help. Ie. Earth shoes and calf stretching. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
