If: If you were pregnant prior to this then it is likely that you had a miscarriage. You will need to see your doctor for an evaluation to determine exactly what happened. On the other hand, if you did not know you were pregnant and now think that you may have been, and the bleeding was a miscarriage, you should still see your doctor for an evaluation to determine if you are pregnant, had, or are having a miscarriage. This can all be determined through blood testing and an examination. I know it is confusing, but you need to seek medical help in order to find answers. Best of luck.

I've been diagnosed with a 3.5 cm anterior subserosal fibroid. Sx's severe pain, heavy bleeding with cycles q 14 days. Uterine ablation good option?

Probably not: A combined laparoscopic myomectomy/ fibroid electrocoagulation and diagnostic hysteroscopy / possible endometrial ablation might be better choices, if you have already explored some non-surgical options like GnRH analogs and unless you do not want to consider a more definitive operation like a laparoscopic hysterectomy. Consult a specialist in fibroid treatments and Minimally-Invasive-Gynecology

Hi! Is it normal to have ongoing spotting and terrible menstrual cycles (pain, heavy bleeding) 3.5 months after fibroid surgery?

Hi! Is it normal to have ongoing spotting and terrible menstrual cycles (pain, heavy bleeding) 3.5 months after fibroid surgery?

Need evaluation: It really depends on how many fibroids were removed and their location. In general though I would say it's not normal over 3 months out. Especially if you feel like the pain is getting worse. Probably a good idea for you to go back to your surgeon and ask for an evaluation. In that period of time scar tissue can form (in uterus or pelvis) which can lead to pain.

Been trying to get pregnant. Week before period massive pain heavy bleeding, clots feel sick to my stomach. Not normal period really heavy and pain?

Pregnancy?: Heavy bleeding with clots can cause severe pain as large clots to be forced by uterine contractions through the narrow canal in the cervix. The strong contractions can cause nausea. Obtain a serum HCG test to make sure you are not pregnant, and if positive see your healthcare provider immediately to make sure the pregnancy is not in your tube (ectopic).

What can cause pelvic pain/cramping leg pain & heavy bleeding 15 days after period ended? Not on any birth control

Pelvic pain: Pelvic pain is complex as there are several organs in the pelvis. The ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, bladder, appendix, intestines, colon and rectum can all be the source. Pelvic pain requires and examination to help organize the evaluation.

Is this a misscarriage? Vomiting, back pain, heavy bleeding, severe stomache pain, nausea, thick pink, grey and yellow skin coming from the vagina?

Is this a misscarriage? Vomiting, back pain, heavy bleeding, severe stomache pain, nausea, thick pink, grey and yellow skin coming from the vagina?

Very possibly: Given the right scenario of early pregnancy it is likely. Would recommend an urgent evaluation by obstetrician/gynecologist, or local emergency department. Ignoring could lead to complications and excessive blood loss.

What could cause pain and heavy bleeding?

What could cause pain and heavy bleeding?

Pregnancy, fibroids: Endometriosis, abnormal tissue or a polyp inside the uterus, a ruptured ovary cyst, many things so call your gyn or go to the er if u don't have a gyn for an evaluation.

Sharp ovarian pain and heavy bleeding are symptoms of what?

Could be: Could be due to ovarian cysts, tumors, even fibroids can cause pain that refers to the region of the ovaries and heavy bleeding. You would need an evaluation with the gynecologist to determine more definitively.

Can you have a fibroid without any severe pain or heavy bleeding at all?

Can you have a fibroid without any severe pain or heavy bleeding at all?

Yes: Fibroids start out very tiny and vary in number. I see them all the time of ultrasound and laparoscopies for unrelated issues. Not everyone is symptomatic, especially at your age

What should I do about uterus pain and heavy bleeding.?

What should I do about uterus pain and heavy bleeding.?

Many choices: Start with gyne evaluation. Ultrasound and/or hysteroscopy (looking in uterus w/ tiny telescope) may find polyp (skin tag) or fibroid (benign growth) that explains pain & bleeding. Treatments include medication, resecting any growths (outpatient procedure), iud, or surgery.

Hi doctors. I have done my first IVF and very sadly to tell you that it didn't work today I've got periods very bad pain and heavy bleeding please help.?

So sorry: I am so sorry to hear that the ivf cycle was not successful. The next step will be to schedule a follow up visit with your ivf doctor to discuss what to do going forward. Don't get discouraged and hopefully you will be successful next round.

Told going thru change. Severe pain w/heavy bleeding off/on every 2 wks. Take progesterone birth control too. Is the pain & bleeding pattern normal?

Told going thru change. Severe pain w/heavy bleeding off/on every 2 wks. Take progesterone birth control too. Is the pain & bleeding pattern normal?

No: You are probably having breakthru bleeding from the Progesterone pill. However, there may be something inside your uterus that is adding to the problem. See your gynecologist regarding a possible biopsy of the lining of your uterus (office test) and then a change in your birth control. It would be uncommon to be perimenopausal at your age, although not unheard of. U/s may be helpful & pelvic exam.

Will a uterine ablation help pain and heavy bleeding from fibroids. I have that option or a hysterectomy. 41 years old. No children. Severely anemic.

UFE: Have you consulted with an interventional radiologist regarding uterine fibroid embolization (ufe)? This procedure is usually a great option for women with symptomatic fibroids. It is minimally invasive (tiny incision in your groin) and treats fibroids in any portion of your uterus, not just ones that can be reached through the uterine cavity.

For a week or so now feels like kicking on my left side upper stomach/rib cage, swollen stomach, sharp left pain, heavy vaginal bleeding w clotshelp!

Vaginal bleeding: You did not specify if pregnancy test was negative. Assuming pregnancy test is negative, fibroid uterus or pelvic masses can cause pelvic and abdominal pain with movement like sensation. Abnormal bleeding its also caused due to fibroid uterus. See you obgyn for ultrasound and physical exam.
