Probably not: If you had a bankart repair and did well for 6 months and started having neck pain running down your left arm, it is more likely coming from a "pinched nerve" in your neck. Bankart repairs are done primarily for instability, so if you have not developed recurrent instability, it is probably not your shoulder, also shoulder problems do not typically cause pain running down the arm. I have neck pain that radiates to arm like pinching but worse when I get up from bed is the worse what can it be I haven't had any trauma to it ?

Muscular most likely: The most likely cause is myofascial or muscular pain. It is possible that certain positions you might be sleeping in could be the cause of your pain. If you are experiencing any numbness/tingling or weakness it is possible it is a pinched nerve in the neck. If you're not having any of these nerve symptoms, I would suggest trying different pillows.
