Leg pain from knee to ankle on outside of calf felt a pop hot or cold compress? I has happened before 6 weeks ago. Pain lasted 4 to 6 days.
What is the outside leg pain from knee to ankle caused by? It occurs when i move my foot/ankle. Also what can I do to get rid of it?

Residual pain from knee to ankle is an early symptom of fibular hairline fracture, followed by bowing of the leg and instability of the ankle joint. Could be a number of: Causes; like a tendonitis around the knee or sprains/strains of the ligaments/ muscles. Arthritis of the joint, cartilage issues. My husband had kiddney failer and not to long ago he has pain from his knees to his ankles if he sit to long it hard to get up get up but with pain ?
I would be concerned: To rule out a clot in either of his legs, this would take precedence over other diagnose as this is serious. Swelling of legs is not unusual for someone with kidney failure. Elevation of legs and salt restriction is a must, need to discuss with kidney doctor. Physical therapy could help your dad get up from seated position but make sure no clots in leg. ...Read more
