worse with cough?: Does it get worse with cough? Deep breath? Fatty meals? Lying down? Arm movement? It could be many things but a muscular pain is most likely. Gall bladder and biliary tract disease should be considered. Pleurisy is also a possibility. Cervical spondylitis is another consideration. Shoulder arthritis or tendinitis. Rotator cuff tear. Cramping pain under left ribs, down side, & around back. Worse in morning, esp. after sleeping on right side. Eating/BMs fine. Activity helps. Ideas?
Cramping left ribs: Does it go away on own or after BM? May be reflux/ gastritis which worsens when on the right side ( left side would put stomach in more dependent position) try prevecid/ ranitidine x 1 months if not allergic, May be disc, try pillow btwn legs.
