Pain Center Chest
Pain in center chest while lifting weights of 1 to 2 kg. I am 20, male. How to treat this symptom? Is there any cardio problem?
Pain with walking?: 2 kg seems relatively light. If you get chest symptoms with fast walking or prolonged walking then this would be consistent with cardiac nature. If not then it could be related to sternum where the rib cage attaches in the front of the chest and this is a condition called costochondritis and is usually off to the sides of the sternum. ...Read more
bad Chest pain. Center of chest below ribcage. And the pain goes to my bacK. E.r. Dr. Said to quit smoking. I've never smoked? .
Forget the ER doc: Shame on the ER doc for not knowing you're a non-smoker. Pain in that location which radiates to the back is really more in the abdomen than chest. 2 concerns I would have are: pancreatitis and peptic ulcer. You need further eval. Please see your family doc or go to a different ER if you otherwise don't have access to care. ...Read more

Esophageal: The discomfort suggests esophageal inflammation or dysfunction with some reflux. Sharp knife pain right center chest, 1 or 2 inches down & in from nipple. Sharper upon deep breath. Few days. Normal ultrasound & blood work. Causes?
Probably nothing: If this makes it painful to breathe in but does not take your breath away like hard exercise, it is almost certainly Texidor's twinge. It's harmless; try to inflate your lungs to the very maximum to relieve it. I believe it's caused by an infolding in the sensitive lining of the lungs. ...Read more
Woke up to five sec. Squeezing pain center of chest directly above breast line. No other symptoms. Ecg/holter in oct. Ok. Severe cardiac anxiety.
The cause could be a kind of tendonitis at the juncture of the ribs with the chest bone. Pressure a this juncture should produce an increase in sharp pain. It could also be acid reflux.

Should I go to ER 56 yr old female bp left arm 130/90 74 pulse bp right arm 159/93 achy non sharp pain top center chest, left shoulder pain radiating from neck area, weakness in left arm
Yes: Er eval is a good idea. You have chest pain and left arm symptoms radiating from the neck, these could represent angina, which means an impaired blood supply to the heart muscle from the coronary arteries. There are certainly other causes of chest and arm pain, but your combination of symptoms sounds concerning. It's better to be sure, go to the er. ...Read more
Sharp chest pain is worrisome. There are multiple causes, some more dangerous than others. The reason a medical evaluation is in order is to rule out potential cardiac (heart) issues like decreased blood flow due to blockage in your hearts arteries, weak arteries that are possibly tearing (aortic dissection) these would be emergent situations. On the other hand it could be heartburn, or something called costochondritis (inflammation between the ribs) etc. With the limited information in your post, I am unsure what the cause of your pain is,
if the pain has subsided and returns on occasion you should see your doctor. If it is severe you need to go to an urgent care or er.
Take care. ...Read more
