ENT Consult: Chronic mastoiditis, which is what may be developing at this point, needs to be addressed immediately. Antimicrobial resistance is a problem, and mastoiditis is treated with antibiotics, ear cleaning procedures and sometimes surgery is necessary. Not Aneurysm: Aneurysm gives a throbbing headache that is hard to differentiate from migraine. More likely tension headache or torticollis- strained muscles in the neck that respond to heat or cold applications + Aspirin or tylenol (acetaminophen). Excedrin migraine is otc- obtainable without prescription & contains aspirin+tylenol (acetaminophen)+ caffeine. Pulled muscle: Assuming you didn't hit your head I suspect you pulled the sternocleidomastoid muscle that attaches in that spot. It should get better on it's own. ...Read more

Right sides headache: Does it hurt when you open and close the jaw? If so it can be related to the TMJ. I also think about migraine headache as well. I would see your family doctor and they can help you start sorting through this issue. Good luck and feel better! ...Read more

Yes: This may very we be a swollen benign lymph node associated with a resolving infection because it is getting smaller. Please get it checked by a doctor because this is something that needs to be examined and sometimes even biopsied to be sure what is going on. ...Read more
