I : I am going to assume that it is an ovarian cyst. You are right in not wanting to keep taking pain pills. Pain pills are addictive and should be avoided whenever possible. Actually, Ibuprofen often works better for cysts than pain pills. However, since you are still having pain, you should have a re-evaluation, preferably by a gynecologist.
