Possibly due to acid: Your symptoms may be due to acid, especially since you mention heartburn. Try 2 weeks of omeprazole 20 mg once a day- taken 1/2 hr before a meal. Abdominal pain: There are several causes of abdominal pain. If it is constant, severe, associated with fever or vomiting then immediate attention is necessary.
