Quite normal: It is normal to experience some pain 24 days after surgery by stretching or pulling on the muscles or soft tissues inadvertently injured during surgery. Is it normal for Accutane to cause pubic bone pain? (the pain is right above my bladder, could also be muscle pain, seems to be worse after sex.)
Don't think so: There is a small piece of cartridge called the pubic symphysis the can get inflamed. Try a different position so that area gets less pressure. Also the bladder is in there and if peeing more or having pain could be a contributor. I don't think the accutaine is adding to the problem but google it and stay off the complaint patient page. Look for pain in bone or cartlidge, not just pubic bone. ...Read more
Herpes and warts: While technically herpes, caused by herpesvirus , and genital warts, caused by HPV virus are not the same entity, both are considered venereal in nature and both can distribute onto the pubic area of a man or woman. There are vaccinations to prevent HPV and pills to suppress outbreaks of genital herpes. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Is mesh used in a bladder tuck, and could your bladder drop so far down as to it would be laying on the pelvic bone?
Most repairs can be : completed using your own tissue and stitches. Mesh is still appropriate in some cases. When used by an experienced gyn surgeon or urogynecologist it has reasonable risks. I am not sure what you mean by "laying on the pelvic bone". A prolapsed bladder can cause symptoms of pressure or pain in the pelvis. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Call your surgeon: While it seems likely that flushing may resolve a suprapubic catheter that is not draining, it is critical that you contact your surgeon for advise. This it sounds like the surgery was fairly recent and because your repair may be adversely affected if the flush is done incorrectly (and if the flushing does not work, your surgeon will need to see you anyways), best to put him/her on alert. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
