Hip pain: May be tendonitis, sciatica ,arthritis, constipation(gas), kidney issues.Drink fluids (water alternate with gatorade to avoid diluting electrolytes), have regular bowel movements. Would get U/A and follow with doctor over next week as may need colonoscopy as well. ...Read more

Muscular v disc: This is either muscular issue if only several weeks. If longer, it may be from a disc issue that could be a tear in the disc or a herniation. If muscular, it will get better by about 6-8 weeks and 90% of discs improve over time. Otc meds can help as can heat &/or ice as well as guided exercise & activity modification. PELVIC PAIN: Assuming you have no gastrointestinal symptoms , chronic diarrhea, etc. At your age, most likely related to an ovarian cyst , endometriosis, etc. Some patients can have "chronic appendicitis" but the pain is not constant. But recurrent. Have to rule out a groin hernia or a hip problem. A pelvic ultrasound, a good clinical exam and perhaps even a laparoscopy could help solve the issue. ...Read more

Renal colic : Your symptoms are suspect for an obstructing ureteral calculus but could be musculoskeletal. With he intensity of pain i suggest urgent medical evaluation either at an urgent care, er or with your primary care physician or urologist. They will most likely obtain a urine for urinalysis as well as perform either a renal ultrasound and kub x-ray but more likely a plain ct scan of the abd and pelvis. ...Read more
