Pain 2 Inches Left Of Belly Button
26 Year old female. Dull pain 2 inches left of belly button. Waves of constipation for 4 days followed by abnormally large, toilet clogging BMs.
Abdominal pain: The association with constipation makes a likely connection between the two. Treat your constipation with daily Restoralax or Lax a day as well as a diet high in fibre and juices. If this fails to treat your problem; and if you are vomiting, the pain becomes worse, you have fever or blood in your stool; be checked. All the best.

Have been having a dull aching pain about 2-3 inches left of belly button. It's constant for the past hr and happened yesterday as well. Why is this?
Need eval: As a young woman this is potentially the area of your ovaries. There is possibility of cyst or other ovary issue. There are not many other organs in this area except for your colon- so if some thing was twisted or if there was a gas pocket you can get this type of pain. Recommend you see pcp if pain persists.
I was laying down & felt a dull pain about 2 inches left of my belly button just curious what is located there and what the pain may be from? Thank u
Depends: On the surface the discomfort could be from an umbilical hernia or from a sore strained muscle. Internally there are too many structures to guess the cause of pains without a much more detailed physical exam & medical history.

I have a pain about about an inch to the left and two inches up from my belly button. I've had it on and off for about a year.
Abdominal pain: Abdominal pain can be associated with many different etiologies. Chronic abdominal pain is a common complaint and could be associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). LUQ pain could be splenic etiology. Epigastric could be pancreatitis, ulcer or other gastric etiology. If persistent, worsening you should see PMD for history, exam and labs. Online consult may help you determine next steps.
About two inches down and four inches over to the left (my left) side of my belly button. Pain is generally on the surface or under skin.

My stomach hurts after I finish eating what could it be? It hurts on the left side, like two inches to the left of where my belly button is. It hurts when I press down
Abdominal: Abdominal pain elicited by palpation and related to meals could reflect possible peptic ulcer among other things. It would be wise to have your physician obtain a thorough history and exam and decide on a proper course of treatment or appropriate referal to a GI doctor if deemed necessary. For now, at least, try to avoid spicy, acidic, and heavily seasoned foods; don't eat large or bulky foods within several hours of lying down; cut down on foods or drink high in caffeine content (coffee, tea, cola, chocolate, mountain dew, etc.). If not medically contraindicated with the meds your on (check with pharmacist) you may want to consider Prilosec otc while your waiting to see your doctor.
A pain one inch to the left of belly button, persistant and nagging for 6 months, what could it be?
Need attention: Pain in that area and constant, might be due to gastrointestinal or kidney issues. There is no enough information that I could help you more. See your doc.
I have had lower stomach about 3 inches down from belly button and about 3 inches to the left of belly button spasms throughout the day?
Abdominal pain: The location of your pain means it my either be your colon or your ovary. Are you constipated? Last period? Fever? You are a bit young for diverticulitis but it is a possible cause that would lead to left lower quadrant pain, as would an ovarian cyst. Kidney issues usually come with urinary complaints and back pain. If pain intensifies, see a doctor, abdominal pain can be many things.
What can cause these symptoms? 1) difficulty of sleeping on left side, 2) random tenderness inch away left of belly button, 3) lower left back pain
Nondiagnostic: These symptoms are nondiagnostic and more information is needed in order to make a diagnosis. A physician would take a thorough history and perform a physical examination in order to make a diagnosis. Any appropriate tests will then be ordered.

It didn't post while question, lost 60-80mls blood first day and dull adominal pain about an inch to left of belly button when light pressure applied?
Best advice is to...: ...see your care provider and get examined for accurate treatment. You didn't specify from which orifice blood originated, so its not in your best interest for us, or to delay your care by, speculating as to source or cause.
Pain- hard to explain- about 1-2 inches right of belly button. Occurs for few mins, once-twice weekly for two months now. Happens without eating too.
Abdominal pain: Given the info you've provided, recurrent abdominal pain is not uncommon and often benign. Irritable bowel syndrome (ibs) is a diagnosis of exclusion, so we can't say this is ibs without a more detailed workup. But my best advice is to keep a good diary of the "triggers" that cause the pain. E.G., is it associated with stress? Is it more often in the morning or after certain types of foods, etc.
Left sided pain: This is a tough one without more information. Left lower quadrant pain in a 64 year old may be diverituculitis. This most likely would have fever and nausea along with it. Other possibliities include abdominal wall injury or trauma, hernias, gynecologic problems, kidney stones, aneurysms, infections etc. Probably best to see your doctor if it persists.
For the last two days I have been experiencing pulling and pinching in my lower left abdomen. It is the left and lower than my belly button.
Nonspecific: No specific diagnosis can be attached to this. Most likely an abdominal muscle problem. Could also be GYN related, a rare type of hernia (Spigelian), diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and even an umbilical hernia. Best to get a more complete evaluation with your primary care provider, the timing depends on duration and severity of symptoms. Hope this helps!
Causes of dull achy pain inches left of my belly button? I take 1-2 pillls of excedrin daily, could be that as cause? Trying to get off excedrin.
Unlikely: Excedrin unlikely to be cause. List of possible causes pretty long. Need to see you doctor for a good history exam and appropriate testing to help you. Sorry this was not more helpful. Best of luck. Dr. R
