Pain 2 inches above belly button also haven't gone to the bathroom (i think I'm constipated) in a few days. Could that be the cause of the pain?
I'm having dull pressure pain 2 inches above belly button, nausas, sweating off and on, palpable lumps in abdomen and flank area? Just don't feel good
See your doctor.: That is a diverse, seemingly unrelated grouping of symptoms. In order to sort it out, you need a good evaluation by your doctor, including a history and physical exam and possibly some tests. I would see him/her soon. Good luck.
Gallbladder removed 1yr ago I have a pain 1-2 inches above belly button. After I eat what would cause thank you?
Stomach?: Several other organs lie in that area. Since the pain is after eating, I wonder if you are having a duodenal/gastric irritation or ulcer. It could also be your pancreas, your small intestine or your large intestine. Some people after having their gallbladder removed, continue to have pain. As you can see, it could be many things, so we need more info. Personal or virtual consult needed. Helped?
I have a pain about about an inch to the left and two inches up from my belly button. I've had it on and off for about a year.
Abdominal pain: Abdominal pain can be associated with many different etiologies. Chronic abdominal pain is a common complaint and could be associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). LUQ pain could be splenic etiology. Epigastric could be pancreatitis, ulcer or other gastric etiology. If persistent, worsening you should see PMD for history, exam and labs. Online consult may help you determine next steps.
Pain- hard to explain- about 1-2 inches right of belly button. Occurs for few mins, once-twice weekly for two months now. Happens without eating too.
Abdominal pain: Given the info you've provided, recurrent abdominal pain is not uncommon and often benign. Irritable bowel syndrome (ibs) is a diagnosis of exclusion, so we can't say this is ibs without a more detailed workup. But my best advice is to keep a good diary of the "triggers" that cause the pain. E.G., is it associated with stress? Is it more often in the morning or after certain types of foods, etc.
Burning sensation just three inches below belly button, two medical centers can't find anything! What is it! Please help. Thanx
Seems to be pain.: Sometimes we can't find a specific diagnosis other than pain. If you have been seen at two medical centers I am not sure you will find a better diagnosis on line. This sounds as though it is neuropathic pain. When will they move on to treatment?
About two inches down and four inches over to the left (my left) side of my belly button. Pain is generally on the surface or under skin.
During intercourse, I have pains about two inches below my belly button. I have had the same partner for over two years and this has been going in for a few months. What could be wrong?
See MD: "dyspareunia"- pain during intercourse can be seen with a variety of causes, mostly gyn related, e.g. Ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, tubal pregnancy (cancer would be very unlikely at your age), also some bowel causes. Pregnant? Need to get examined, perhaps other testing, e.g. Pregnancy test, sono.
Can varicoceles in left testicle cause discomfort about two inch below and about 2-3 inches to the left side of belly button?
Yes: It is possible to feel discomfort anywhere in the lower left quadrant down into the testicles.

What else?: Very localized pain midline near the umbilicus could be a hernia, a pulled muscle, a skin problem that can't be seen yet, or early appendicitis...plus many other troubles inside the abdomen. If other symptoms, like bowel or bladder changes, vomiting or nausea, something to feel or not...a skilled practitioner should be able to help you figure it out.
I have a small bump about two inches below my belly button, its the size of a dime and there is no discoloration. It also is very tender. What is it?
More information...: We need more information on this to give you a better impression. Is it itchy? How did it start and when? Any blisters? If it has been going on for a while and growing in size? Soft, lumpy? If just an isolated bump it could be a fatty tissue mass or a cyst. However, for a definite diagnosis you would need to see a provider who can examine you and give a better impression of it.
My stomach hurts after I finish eating what could it be? It hurts on the left side, like two inches to the left of where my belly button is. It hurts when I press down
Abdominal: Abdominal pain elicited by palpation and related to meals could reflect possible peptic ulcer among other things. It would be wise to have your physician obtain a thorough history and exam and decide on a proper course of treatment or appropriate referal to a GI doctor if deemed necessary. For now, at least, try to avoid spicy, acidic, and heavily seasoned foods; don't eat large or bulky foods within several hours of lying down; cut down on foods or drink high in caffeine content (coffee, tea, cola, chocolate, mountain dew, etc.). If not medically contraindicated with the meds your on (check with pharmacist) you may want to consider Prilosec otc while your waiting to see your doctor.
I have a stabbing pain about two or three inches above my belly button. Every time I eat or drink anything I get nauseous. What could this be?
Gastritis/Dyspepsia: Your symptoms appear to be consistent with possible inflammation of the stomach lining given the location reported. When the lining is irritated nausea, bloating and discomfort can occur as well which is referred to as dyspepsia. Talking to your doctor about treatment options is recommended and avoiding spicy foods, greasy foods, caffeine, cigarettes, and alcohol is advised.

I had 2 beer last night, this morning I have severe pain in my abdomen an inch or two above belly button. Pain is constant but gets worse if resting?
See your doctor: The combination of ibuprofen and alcohol can cause more stomach irritation than either of them alone, and you could have esophagitis, gastritis or duodenitis, inflammation of those areas. This inflammation can lead to ulcers and/or bleeding as well. It may be gall bladder and unrelated. I would see your doctor as soon as possible or go to an urgent care center.See 1 more doctor answer
