Ovranette birth control- I had torn with fingernail the foil on 1 days pill this month. Took as normal. Should it still work? Or would oxygen harm it?
I had a sprain in my heel in the yesterday so today my father gave me o2 ofloxacin ornidazole tablets instead of a painkiller. Will I have any problems?

Pain killers are not recommended either, antiinflammatory medication, icing, rest, elevation, bracing and cool compression wraps usually help sprains. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Oxygen Toxicity: Normal room air is 21% oxygen. That will not hurt you. Diving with 100% oxygen can cause some respiratory problems. Prematures on extra oxygen can develop serious eye problems. Hyperbaric oxygen, for a long time (maybe 12 hrs or more) can hurt you. Most of these situations will not kill you. Also severe fires are accelerated by excess oxygen, so smoking on oxygen has killed people. ...Read more

It appears to produce cellular injury through increased production of reactive oxygen species, such as hydrogen peroxide, superoxide anion, and hydroxyl radical. Oxygen toxicity refers most commonly to resulting tracheobronchial injury and damage to the tissue of the lungs. ...Read more
2liter a volume, not: a dosage. Dosage=a quantity per unit time. 2 Liters/min oxygen flow by nasal cannula is a commonly used adjunctive oxygen flow for people with lung ventilation/perfusion problems: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ventilation/perfusion_ratio. What counts is oxygen saturation of hemoglobin as percentage, not dosage. Too much oxygen, esp. over days/weeks, is also toxic; yet uncommon without intubation. ...Read more
