Age 20 w/ pcos+anovulation. Ovulated last cycle on just metformin+provera . Now taking 50mg Clomid (clomiphene) cd5-9. Chances of ovulating this cycle? Conceiving?

Yes: Prometrium (micronized progesterone) doe not inhibit your own ovulation. And it is safe to take in pregnancy so that is why it is a nice medicine. I assume you are taking it to regulate your periods. But since it is generally a low does it wont usually suppress your own body from ovulating. ...Read more
I'm confused...: No birth control pill in the world contains progesterone, they all have synthetic progestins. I have never heard of "spiking progesterone" with bcp - is that what you are asking? If so, don't do it, it doesn't make sense, especially before ovulation. "extra" Progesterone should never be started until 3-5 days after ovulation. ...Read more
