Details unclear...: "Sickness" is not very descriptive and hard to comment on. By itself, "yellow mustard poo" without other symptoms wouldn't concern me. Iron is great for anemia; however, is she taking synthroid (thyroxine) for her thyroid? I've been taking 50mcg a day of levothyroxine for an underactive thyroid for a year now. My hair has steadily gotten worse. Coarse & brittle.
TSH level: The proper dose of Levoxyl (thyroxine) is determined by the TSH level on blood testing. Your md determines what that dose should be after the TSH results are known. SSRI Weaning....: Coming off SSRI's after 9 years is difficult to do. As you come down on them, you will experience feels of "anxiety" and withdrawal, naturally. I don't know your current dosage, but assuming you are coming down from a high dose of citalopram, (they come in 80, 40, 20, 10 mg), you need to be under the supervision of a doctor while weaning down.
