Can anti-histamine + nasal irrigation + Cromolyn Sodium spray help reduce chronic nasal turbinate, nasopharynx inflammation & mucus membrane swelling?
Nasonex, (mometasone) nasacort aq or flonase, which quicker for nasal congestion/ seasonal allergies? I also nasal colloidal silve-nott o2 binding, will that work
Nasal sprays: All nasal steroids take a few days to start working and need to build up a dose before they become fully effective. Nasal antihistamines are quicker in onset of actiion. Big Difference: Saline nasal sprays are just salt water sprays. You can use saline as nasal sprays as often as you like for as long as you like. Neosynephrine nose drops, however, are decongesting nose drops. Saline washes: It depends on the cause of the congestion, but saline nasal washes at least don't have side effects, unlike decongestants and antihistamines. If the saline doesn't help enough and your symptoms persist, it may be time to see your doctor. ...Read more
Nasal steroid sprays for rhinitis/thick PND, give me perioral dermatitis. Tried antihistamines, montelukast, ipratropium, PPIs as alternative. Ideas?
Any natural decongestants? Sudafed causes insomnia. Flonase seems ineffective. Congestion affects sleep.
Told of allergic rhinitis by 4 ENTs. Antihistamines + steroid spray + singulair + mucinex (guaifenesin) not working. Thick mucus PND and sore throat. Other options?
