Possible, but unlike: Overactive thyroid can cause many, many different symptoms. It can increase your intestinal transit time leading to diarrhea, but continuous cramps is unlikely. Seek another reason: "Adrenal fatigue" is an dubious "pop" diagnosis given to people whose illnesses are probably psychosomatic -- not that this is not serious. Addison's would be worth ruling in/out but other entities -- even chronic carbon monoxide poisoning from a faulty home heater -- and a few dozen others need to be ruled out. Home sleep study : Out sleep apnea. You may still have a sleep disorder or a psychiatric disorder. Recommend a sleep medicine consult and a psychiatry consult.
