Untrue: The cure is avoidance of the contact allergens. Have you undergone patch skin test to try to find out the cause ( I suspect one of the facial cosmetics may be causing it)? On the other hand, if you have atopic eczema, then there is no cure although the condition can be controlled. However the location of your rash is not consistent with atopic eczema. See allergist or dermatologist. ...Read more

Depends: Jack, It depends on what is wrong. If it is just dry skin, Cetaphil will work great. If it is contact dermatitis, hydrocortisone 0.5% is safe and effective. Whichever approach you try, if it doesn't work, see your doctor. Hope this helps! ...Read more
