Is it okay to use 2 different types of gels for my acne at the same time? Duac once daily gel and differin gel adapalene.

Not recommended.: Differin (adapalene) is a topical retinoid medication similar to vitamin a. It is helpful in nearly all cases of acne. If you are using salicylic acid in addition to differin (adapalene), (adapalene) I would recommend you put them on at separate times. I would separate the application by at least 6 hrs. An otc benzoyl peroxide wash could be used in lower concentrations initially and then increased as tolerated. Topical retinoids should be tried every other or every third night before using nightly.
