Have over pronation, i remove footbeds & use orthotics. Many women's shoes slip up & down at heel. Recommend type of shoes to wear.

What is the difference between over pronation and bilat pronation my child was referred to get inserts for bilat pronation and arch and I was wondering if over pronation and arch insoles is okay to buy?
Bilat pronation: just refers to bilateral (both feet)...same as over pronation. Some doctors would prefer that you get custom made insoles, in which case you could see a podiatrist. Depending on the age of your child, you may be able to find adequate over-the-counter ones, but to be sure you have the proper fit, it's best to buy them in person and have your chld's feet measured for them. ...Read more
