What you're describing is due to your blood vessels constricting (narrowing), possibly "Raynaud's phenomenon." Our bodies do this normally in response to things like cold but in some individuals, the degree of constriction can be severe and easily triggered. Avoiding triggers is the simplest thing to try. I would be curious: If there are any color changes noted. Raynaud's syndrome or disease (don't get scared) is a possibility. This is when one gets vasospasm s of small blood vessels. I would also have a doc check to see if you have any kind of anemia. ...Read more

Get a general: physical exam to r/o obvious causes--diet, weight, circulation, allergies and other possible culprits.
