However anytime the AMH is above 4 it may indicate the patient has an issue called: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Women with PCOS may have a lot of eggs but sometimes have issues releasing those eggs and in IVF sometimes have poor outcomes (no success). Talk to your doctor. ...Read more

I'm 36y/0, amh=0.4. What is your opinion on coenzymeq10, royal jelly, wheat grass/germ in improving low ovarian reserve? Any other supplement suggest
No good Data: There is no good data for any of the things you have listed. Unfortunately the science indicates that this is merely advanced ovarian aging with loss of eggs and likely loss of the best eggs first. Our ability to reverse this seems very limited. The standard thought is advanced (ivf) treatment offering best chance for pregnancy. Based on testing you likely have endometriosis and exploring this. ...Read more
In premature ovarian failure patients have you seen in increase in there amh levels after hrt?I was told an increase isn't common mine did >0.01-0.3
No: That change is likely just a laboratory range. When test values are at the extreme of any lab tests that variation can occur. Amh should not go up. Depending on the situation, fsh once in a while can change and indicate some transient ovarian function, but that is very unpredictable. ...Read more
