Pain: It might be possible to convince a doctor to operate. But, you can determine if the pain is ovarian in nature by hormonal manipulation first to determine if the pain is truly ovarian in nature. I was diagnosed with a left ovarian cyst in december. I have had left ovarian pain since october, now the pain is almost constant and pulling. Is it possible the cyst is still there a fairly large?
