However anytime the AMH is above 4 it may indicate the patient has an issue called: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). It may not absorb: If it is truly a hemorrhagic cyst it should resolve in 4-6 weeks if not sooner. If it is an endometrioma, it may not resolve on its own and may require surgery to improve your ivf outcome. I recommend you talk to your reproductive endocrinologist about strategy here. It depends: Donor eggs will clearly be the better option for having a healthy baby. There is no question that the chance of having a healthy baby is lower if you try to use your own eggs, especially when you have decreased reserve. If you already tried ivf but didn't get pregnant, it might be worth another try as long as you stimulated well and had 5 or more eggs. Otherwise i think donor eggs are best. ...Read more

Ovarian Cyst: This suggests that this cyst is not being regulated by hormones (ocs) and its likely not going to respond. You may need surgery to have it removed in order to move to ivf.
