Third opinion : This is a small enough cyst that laparoscopy should be successful. U need to find out how many procedures they do laparoscopically - more the better. Also ask about complication rate. U have to b comfortable with ur surgeon and it doesn't sound like you r at this time. Having one more option might ease ur mind. Try to find someone who does lots of laparoscopy.
