Ovarian Cysts In Pre Menstrual
Hi, I'm 48 yo, have endometriosis, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, pre-menopausal. CA 125 was around 200's then 159 the last one was 210 any concerns?
Likely, no: CA 125 is not recommended as a screening tool for ovarian cancer when used in risk-based stratification. Meaning, assuming that your mom or sister didn't get diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Normal for women with endometriosis to have elevated CA-125. It sounds like your doctor has done Ultrasound to evaluate ovaries as well. Your MD knows your history and risk, likely this CA-125 level is normal ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

How long is the discomfort after a supposedly ruptured ovarian cyst? Is it normal to have not had my menstrual since july?
I'm 34. I have been diagnosed with ovarian cysts. My menstrual cycles are very abnormal. I've been on my cycle for 3 1/2 weeks. Should i be alarmed?
After bilateral laparoscopic ovarian cyst removal, menstrual cycles have gone from 32 days to 25. What does this mean? I 'm 30 years old.
Maybe Bad news: The thing that i would be worried about most is that the doctor removed too much normal ovarian tissue and took out a lot of your eggs. when you remove a cyst in someone who may want children in the future, you must fully separate the cyst from the normal tissue around it or it can send someone into menopause or harm their ovaries. would see a specialist right away ti get tested ...Read more
I have long suffered with a crippling menstrual cycle. I'm only 23, but i've had ovarian cysts. Is a partial or full hysterectomy best for me?
Start medically: Because of your age most people would start with medical treatments such as birth control pills or Lupron or iud. Or do laparoscopy. It is also important to know what's the cause of the pain to know if a hysterectomy would help. Also knowing the cause would determine if the ovaries need to be removed - a full hysterectomy. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Rough pain below my abdominals on the left side, it is not menstrual cramp pain. I believe it is somewhere around my ovaries, is it an ovarian cyst?
Back and sides pain for the past 4days similar to menstrual pain. Period was 2weeks ago. Ovarian cyst? If so, what should I do? I'm so uncomfortable.
See a doctor: It can be anything and you need to see your ob/gyn doctor, so a physical exam can be done to determine the actual cause, since your symptoms are so broad. If you feel it's an ovarian cyst, your doctor can determine whether it needs to be imaged, based on your physical, abdominal, and pelvic examination. Your history, onset of current symptoms, recurrences, and palpation will yield best results. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
