More info needed: If you mean blood and tissue coming from the vagina, no that is not normal, and needs prompt evaluation. If you mean blood and tissue coming out of your incisions, that is also not normal, and needs emergent evaluation. Betadine?: Check with your doctor to see if betadine was used to clean the vagina and thigh areas. Sometimes we use different forms of cleaning preps, chloraprep (alcohol-based i think) for the abdomen and betadine (iodine-based) for the vagina. This might explain why you are only irritated below.
