Please see a gyn or: Go to the er as u need a CBC to make sure it is not actively bleeding and a pelvic ultrasound and once the doc knows what i going on , you can get on some pain meds for relief if u don't need surgery. ...Read more

Yes, need eval: If you are having continuing pelvic or abdominal pain, lasting a day or more, it is best to have a doctor evaluate what is going on. You may be correct, that it is an ovarian cyst, but if might be something else that requires more urgent treatment. Unlikely: ovarian cysts are very common. 3 cm or less is considered a normal functional follicular cyst related to normal ovulation cycles. A cyst greater than 5 cm in a premenopausal patient should be followed and managed by an OB GYN doctor.
