Really the only way a cyst can be dangerous to your pregnancy is if it twists on itself (torsion) and requires surgical removal during the pregnancy. Not a cyst cause: In general, an ovarian cyst does not cause vaginal bleeding during pregnancy. The usual causes would be an issue with the placenta, a growth on the cervix, premature labor, for instance.
