If sciatica pain was caused by free fluid from ovarian cyst, should surgery have relieved pain immediately? Or might it take a few days to resolve?
Hmm...: Well sciatica generally is not caused by anything in the abdomen, so highly unlikely the fluid from ovarian cyst caused your sciatica. I have 4-5 cm ovarian cyst causing nausea and low back pain. Dr wants to follow up in 6 weeks with ultrasound. Should I be concerned it is cancerous?
Unlikely: Lifetime risk of cancer is 1 in 60-90. Small odds. It usually strikes women after the age of 45.
