Not likely the cause: Typically ovarian cysts don't cause bleeding unnless they rupture or get twisted onto their own tubes etc...Light bleeding after sex is quite common for those having a male partner who is a bit on the long-side--repetitious trauma of the penis pushing/thrushing on the cervix which can bleed a bit. If u have some cervical polyps, fibroids, infections, cancer, bleeding is even more common. Good luck. ...Read more

Maybe cervicitis?: Bleeding after sex is often due to cervicitis, i.e. inflammation of the cervix; penile contact can make fragile tissues bleed. Needs evaluation: Two items. If you truly mean that you are having severe pain then you need to be seen in the emergency room. Sinus tachycardia is diagnosed by an ekg. If you believe you are having heart problems you also should be seen in the emergency room.
