Okay : So long as you don't have a strong family history for ovarian or breast cancer, this small cyst on the ovary isn't concerning. It's very small in size. And is likely an incidental finding on ultrasound. The fibroid you described as well is also benign and small. The most important and definitive opinion comes from your doctor who knows you the best. But overall, these findings are not worrisome. ...Read more
I have done pelvic scan, my both ovaries contains multiple small follicles, rv uterus measures 5.9*3.7 cm, endometrial thickness is 7 mm, what does meamt?
No worries, normal: The scan you describe is normal. They describe the ovaries as normal (having multiple follicles versus a mass etc.). The uterus is normal size and it is rv which stands for retroverted. That means it is tilted toward the back of your pelvis and is otherwise not important (its just the way you're built). The endometrium is the lining of your uterus and the thickness measurement is also normal. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Please explain "left lobe of thyroid is 4.6x1.9x1.5cm & contains 9mm hypoechoic nodule at lower pole w/ small cystic component" mildly complicated. TY?
Recent CT scan and vaginal ultrasound found septated cyst on left ovary 2cm x 1.5cm. Pain on left side. Irregular bleeding. Weight loss 60lbs. Urgent?
Possibly: A 2cm cyst with septation at the age of 36 is likely not significant. Cysts are normally present in young women of childbearing age. However, for your pain and irregular bleeding, you should see a gynecologist for thorough evaluation. Also, if your 60 lb weight loss was unintentional, additional tests may be necessary. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
TVUSG report says: "Bulky uterus with small subserous fibroids. Thickened endometrium. Small cysts in ovaries." Period late by 15days. Please advice?
Depends: I think the small subserous fibroids are a non-issue. More like an incidental finding. The rest (thickened endometrium, small cysts in ovaries, late period) can all be explained with something like polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). If you are trying to conceive then you will likely need to see a physician for help with ovulation induction (using medications). Losing weight can also help. ...Read more

I have 2 cystic ovarian masses, on CT scan. Could this mean ovarian cancer. I'm nervous. 29 years old?
Almost never!!: It is very common to see cysts on the ovaries. Ovaries make cysts every month that contain eggs. These come and go all the time. These are usually small, under 3cm each. But you should follow up with your gynecologist who can check with an ultrasound. Ct scan is a very poor way to look at the ovaries and pelvic ultrasound will tell you much more. Most likely, they will go away on their own. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

U/s shows dominant 27mm×15×13 Nodule wih heterogeneous prominent blood flow...2 small nodules other lobe..they were hyoerechoic.I'm scared it's cancer?
Nodules: I assume these nodules are on your thyroid gland. As you have multiple nodules, the odds are more in favor of it not being cancer, but any nodule larger than1cm or 10 mm should be evaluated and followed and likely biopsied to rule out cancer. I would recommend seeing an endocrinologist to discuss laboratory work/thyroid scan and a possible biopsy of that larger nodule. ...Read more

Bone nodule: You know worrying never solves anything. Your doctor is concerned enough that they want to biopsy this nodule. So soon you will know what it is. With knowledge comes action. Then your doctors will have a plan, you will be able to discuss with them what the plan entails and you will be able to prepare instead of worrying. I hope everything turns out well. ...Read more
