US is good test: The transvaginal US is a good test for looking at the ovaries. If there were a mass there they should be able to see it on the US. It depends.: Pain and bloating can be signs of ovarian cancer, but they can be just from a painful period. Ovarian cancer would be more likely in older women, like 40+ years, and most likely in women 70+ years. Ca Ovary, bloating: Hello ~ from the word bloating, I am assuming you mean increase in abdominal size,or enlargement of the belly.If that is what you mean, it usually occurs in Stage 4 of the disease and it is due to peritoneal fluid increase (ascites) and from direct spread from the ovary to the peritoneum. May be: There are no specific signs of ovarian cancer. The symptoms you mentioned are associated with ovarian cancer, but then theses symptoms are also present in lots of people without ovarian cancer.
