Just stool: If you have a good stool sample and it's in the proper container, the lab should be able to run an o&p test without any further information.

I have multiple ova and parasite tests done and they all came back negative. My stool is covered in strings. What could be the cause.

I have multiple ova and parasite tests done and they all came back negative. My stool is covered in strings. What could be the cause.

Food fibers: If you do not have symptoms, do not obsess about the "strings". For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.

I have a high white (+++) and red (++++) blood cell count but no infection, cysts, ova or parasites was found in my stool. No salmonella, shigella etc?

Insufficient info: There's no way to know what your medical issue is or what cell count test you are referencing. We can assume you have diarrhea since you had a stool study. Are the high white and red counts in your blood, urine or stool? Results like +++ are usually from a screening dipstick, most likely a urine test. Write back and specify why you went to the doctor in the first place and what tests they did.

I have diarrhea, bleeding, abd pain/bloating, nausea 1 yr. Norm upper/lower GI, neg ova/parasite tests, positive c diff. Can c diff last that long?

Yes!: If you have above symptoms and past history of C Diff- sometimes it can be antibiotic resistant strain. You should be retested and seek medical attention ASAP! Besides it nutrition is very important: eat daily high dose probiotic food (KEFIR, Greek plain Yogurt, Danactive, Lassi) and pod supplement as VSL#3 450-900 billions bacteria. Keep hydrated. Don't procrastinate to see doctor.

Stool sample for H. pylori, parasites & ova. They said put 1 tiny scoop into each jar. What if parasites happen to not be in that specific tiny scoop?

Not a problem: You are unlikely to have worms, unless you recently traveled to a poor country. If there are worms in sufficient numbers, a tiny sample will have their eggs. There are better tests for H pylori than stool examination and stool examination for ova and parasites is not useful for a resident of the US.
