M.D. visit: At this time of year, it may be due to another viral or bacterial illness. There are certain infection that also can be diagnosed at this age, which actually may have been transmitted earlier in life. Our 2 month old baby sometimes has yellow snot in her nose? She is sometimes colicky for 2 hours sometimes loud breathing would she have chesty cold?

Nasal Congestion: You are describing nasal congestion and it is possible the noisy breathing may be caused by that. Clear her secretions to see if that helps her breathing. If her breathing continues to be noisy, if she is working hard to breath, if she has fever or is not feeding well she needs to be seen by her doctor. This does not cause colic. It is possible she may have an ear infection as a cause of her pain. ...Read more

My 2 month old weighs 14lbs 9oz what is the right amount of infant tylenol (acetaminophen) I can give him in ml?

Al little young: While infant tylenol (acetaminophen) is not recommended by the manufacturer until 2 years of age it is used and if so the dose in millilitres for the weight you have given is a total of 9 ml in divided doses over 24 hours. How long does it take for a fractured rib take to heal on a 1-2 month old infant? And would there be any physical signs such as bruising on the skin?

Red flag: I must know whether this was an injury sustained during birth, and whether the diagnosis is made by a trusted radiologist.
