A different drop?: I am not the biggest fan of preparations that contain neomycin as it is known to irritate the skin of some individuals, making the itching worse. Generally complete avoidance of q tips and using a different drop like dermotic (there is a generic now too) twice a day as needed can help. Also make sure you have a drying box for your hearing aids at night so they aren't too moist. ...Read more

No: Thrush relates to yeast in the mouth, not the ear. There may be a fungal infection in the ear but that is quite uncommon and is usually seen with chronic middle ear or external ear infections. Sounds like infected: The pain and swelling could be caused by a bacterial or other infection. Those symptoms are not usually caused by the psoriasis. An anti-inflammatory might help the pain and swelling, but i think it'd be best to get medical attention.
