Need to see doctor!: These are not normal findings! In fact they might be more indicative of inflammatory bowel or possibly other colon conditions. So you need to have this evaluated immediately by your PCP. S/he can refer you to a gastroenterologist, or other specialist to have this further worked up. Other then Crohn's and IBS what can cause diarrhea, nausea, weight loss, stomach pains. Diarrhea 12-17 times a day. Not lactose intolerant either?
Several things.: If the blood is bright red and just a bit on the toilet paper or in the bowl when having a bm, it is due to a hemorrhoid or anal fissure (small tear). These occur with chronic constipation, contributors to constipation are niot enough water or fiber in the diet, or prolonged sitting. If the blood is dark, or heavy, go see a doctor. I am not sure: Gastroparesis is what the name is saying namely the stomach does not empty and food stagnates there 4 hours. Usually it could be part of paresis of the entire GI tract and in this case constipation could be present. If there are difficulties in digesting too i think is possibly to have fat steatorrhea (fat in stool). As far as i know however fat in stool causes loose stools...See an GI guy! ...Read more
