No: Many of the things that we ask women not to do or to do after embryo transfer such as restrain from intercourse or bed rest in reality don't have enough scientific evidence to support them. Implantation is a very solid process and it is very unlikely that it will be interrupted by an orgasm. Please don't worry and wait for the pregnancy test. Hi, i had day 5 embryo transfer today past 8 days but no any symptoms beside bad constipation because of it striend now i'm afraid i hurt my embryos?

Constipation: The release of Progesterone that occurs after your egg retrieval can be pretty dramatic, slow your bowels, and cause constipation. However 8 days following an embryo transfer, i would not expect constipation to have an effect on your embryos. Your embryos should be secure in the uterus at this point and you should be worrying more about your clogged poops. Take a laxative and stool softeners. ...Read more

I had frozen embryo transfer on 1/28/2015 My 4th beta test showed 332 as HCG level. Is it good or bad?

Beta HCG level: Sometimes with embryo transfer, the implantation into the uterine wall is delayed, so the generation of beta HCG may be as well. Any level above 10 is associated with pregnancy, but "332" is low, and should be checked again in five to seven days, since the rise should be rapid. If bleeding or one sided pain occurs, see your healthcare provider immediately. ...Read more

YES: It is very important to still have blood test. It is still possible to be pregnant even with vaginal bleeding. It is not unusual for normal pregnancies to have bleeding during early pregnancy. An abnormal pregnancy (miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy) is possible as well. Thus, it is important to still obtain the pregnancy test. ...Read more

How bad is second hand smoke exposure the day after an IVF embryo transfer? My hsbnd & i are nonsmokers. It was about 1.5 hrs at a bar (i did't drink)

No problem at all: I would not worry about that at all. When the pregnancy is so early, it has no effect. It is good that you are now paying attention to these things and not drinking. ...Read more
