Homemade diet supplement which consists of a zippfizz, 1/2 tsp ground chia seeds, 1/2 tsp ground flax seeds. Been drinking 1x day. Be ok to do 3x day?
I wouldn't because:: You can have all the flax ; chia you want but i'd be cautious re: zipfizz- it's high in caffeine ; has some hazardous ingredients such as sucralose (http://bit.Ly/1eavvqa), synthetic vit e ; high doses of Cyanocobalamin which has cyanide! (http://bit.Ly/mm1ce9)-i wouldn't take 7500 mcg(in 3 doses zipfizz). Instead try a good b complex with methylcobalamin ; a green drink like orac energy greens. ...Read more

Was my lunch ok for weight loss or did i screw up?I'm 18 male 5'9 170. One piece whole grain bread, slice onion, slice tomato, 1 avacodo, handful almonds
OK: One meal isn't going to make or break your program- the best way to lose weight is permanent changes in how you eat. Slow ; steady is the way to go. Hard to evaluate your lunch without knowing the rest of your diet but it looks ok. Eat mostly fruits, veggies, nuts ; seeds ; you'll lose weight. I'd have much more tomato/onion that a slice. Whole grains ok in moderation. See http://bit.Ly/1dhw9ht. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Sample feeding schedule or menu for a 7mo who eats fruits and veggies? She eats a jar of fruit in the AM & a jar of veggies PM w/25 oz of formula/day
It doesn't matter: Aside from not feeding anything at night, it doesn't matter what the feeding schedule is. At 6-9 months, a baby gets most of his nutrition from breast milk or formula (don't need to count the total ounces). Solid foods are for fun, for experience, and for the variety. 2-4 oz food at 3 times a day works fine. Using a high chair, and feeding at the dining table at meal times, helps form good habits. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I daily eat 5 -7 table spoons of extra version olive oil mostly sprinkling on food, salad. Any health benefits, or concerns from the saturated fat.
Only calories!: There is little saturated fat in olive oil, which primarily is monosaturated fat, the fat with health benefits, and which also moderates your cholesterol and increases hdl. The only downside is the extra calories. If you are on a low carbohydrate lifestyle, it wouldn't matter. But on a conventional diet it would. It is a good idea to replace saturated fat with monsaturated fat when you can! ...Read more
This lunch healthy for 18 y/o tryin 2 lose weight? 1 piece whole wheat bread, 1avacodo, slices of tomato/onion/bell pepper, & 4-6 oz chicken breast
OK but...: This is ok but if you really want to lose weight you might avoid the bread as less carbs will help; some feel gluten causes obesity so rice or quinoa might be better. I strongly advise organic chicken - see http://bit.Ly/19xax7e for the reasons. My favorite diet for weight loss and overall health is dr. Fuhrman's nutritarian diet- see http://bit.Ly/1dhw9ht don't forget to exercise. Good luck! ...Read more
Is this a healthy dinner? 1 activia yogurt, serving of almonds, 1 sweet potatoe, 1 boiled egg, and some baby brussel sprouts? Im 18 5'8 and 190 lbs
OK- healthier if...: This has potential but i advise choosing organic yogurt;conventional brands like activia are from cows fed gmo corn & given antibiotics & rbgh(bovine growth hormone)-avoid! the same applies to eggs. Please eat organic eggs or they're from chickens fed gmo's & antibiotics! almonds, sweet potato & brussel sprouts are all healthy- while organic is best, these are acceptable if grown conventionally. ...Read more
